Brine/USL High School Girls' Player of the Week (June 26)


The Brine/US Lacrosse Players of the Week are named each Tuesday to recognize the most outstanding individual performances in high school boys' lacrosse in each of the five regions — Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West — outlined in our high school coverage.

Northeast

Maddie McDonough, Norwell (Mass.)

McDonough scored a team-high five goals to lead Norwell to a 12-10 win over Bromfield (Mass.) in the Division 2 state championship. It was Norwell’s second state title in four years. McDonough’s older sister, Murphy, netted two goals in the win.
