High school boys’ lacrosse seasons have already begun in some regions across the country — a refreshing feeling after the 2020 season was largely wiped out due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With lacrosse back on the field, US Lacrosse Magazine is pleased to reveal the Nike / US Lacrosse Preseason Boys’ National Top 25, with Calvert Hall (Md.) firmly positioned at the top of the list.
The Cardinals are looking to capture their fourth straight MIAA-A conference title, and coach Bryan Kelly has a great shot at reaching 300 wins for his career this season.

The strength will be on offense with the return of junior Truitt Sunderland (committed to Virginia). Also keep an eye out for senior middie Ethan Long (Penn State), junior defender JK Kelly (Cornell) and junior midfielder Jordan Wray. Sophomores Joshua Kelly and Wyatt Hottle both had a tremendous fall and summer on the club tournament circuit.
The first update to the rankings will be during the week of March 29, at which point we will update records for teams that have played and adjust the Top 25 accordingly. From there, updates will be weekly throughout the remainder of the season.
