Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Arden Tierney scored the game-winner in double overtime to seal Richmond’s upset of No. 7 Virginia.

In a back-and-forth battle, Virginia’s Ashlyn McGovern scored two goals in the final two minutes to force overtine in the in-state rivalry. Tierney, who finished with a hat trick, came up huge for the Spiders in double overtime to secure the victory.

Elsewhere in women’s lacrosse, Syracuse scored the final three goals to erase a deficit and top Loyola 9-7 in Baltimore, Maryland got a hat trick from Kori Edmondson to cruise past Georgetown and Brigid Duffy scored five goals to lead Army past Siena.

2. Dylan Pallonetti dropped four goals and three assists to lead Stony Brook to the win over St. John’s in Division I men’s action.

In the lone Division I men’s game, Stony Brook led by five goals at halftime thanks to a Pallonetti hat trick and doubled that effort to pull away for the 18-8 win.

3. We continue with our high school regional rankings with the Mid-Atlantic.

St. Paul’s (Md.) takes the top spot in the girls’ Mid-Atlantic Top 10, fresh off winning the IAAM A Conference last season. Click here for the full rankings.
