National Celebrate Lacrosse Week featured 65 clinics around the country with more than 3,200 participants.


Good morning. Here's the latest from the lacrosse world:

1. Celebrating lacrosse.

More than 3,200 children participated in USA Lacrosse Pickup & Play clinics during National Celebrate Lacrosse Week last week. The more than 60 clinics were run by USA Lacrosse member organizations, helping to provide a natural pathway to play.

2. Virginia is loaded, but seeks a missing piece.

Seven All-Americans return to a Virginia men’s lacrosse roster as the Cavaliers look to recapture some of their hunger after its run of two straight national championships ended.

3. Lacrosse is more than a sport for Jacelyn Lazore, it's her identity.

Jacelyn Lazore, a senior women’s lacrosse player at Virginia Tech, shares her Haudenosaunee background and what the sport means to her community.

4. Final spot in men's world championship field will be decided in Africa this weekend.

Kenya and Uganda meet this weekend with the final spot for the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship on the line.
