Alexa Spallina will join her three brothers at Syracuse.

The pipeline from the Spallina household to Syracuse University seems to be getting stronger by the day.

Alexa Spallina, the No. 1 high school junior according to Inside Lacrosse, announced her commitment to Syracuse on Thursday morning. She will join her three brothers — Joey, Brett and Jake — in the Dome. It also appears as if she will wear No. 22, just like Joey.

The Mount Sinai (N.Y.) and Yellow Jackets attacker was one of just 54 high school sophomores to earn USA Lacrosse All-America honors this year. She competed in the USA Lacrosse National Team Development Program Combine in 2021, led her Yellow Jackets club to back-to-back championship game appearances at the USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals and emerged this summer as a standout in First Class Lacrosse’s Best in Class series.

“There’s no moment too big for Spallina,” Inside Lacrosse wrote in its Class of 2025 rankings.

Joe Spallina, the head coach of Stony Brook, will now likely have to game plan for his daughter in what has become an annual contest between the Seawolves and Orange.
