Richmond's Teddy Hatfield had four goals and four assists in the Spiders' convincing 15-3 win over Fairfield on Saturday.

Teddy Hatfield, a sophomore attackman for the Richmond men's lacrosse team, is the Epoch/US Lacrosse Player of the Week after scoring four goals and doling out four assists in the Spiders' eye-opening 15-3 victory Saturday over Fairfield.

With the convincing win over a team previously ranked No. 17 in the USILA coaches poll, Richmond went from unranked to No. 19 in this week's Nike/US Lacrosse Division I Men's Top 20.

Hatfield, who made the Southern Conference All-Freshman Team and led the conference with a 40.8 shooting percentage in 2016, had a hat trick in the first half and then did his damage as a feeder with three assists in the second half. The Spiders shut out the Stags in the second half.
