BU's James Burr Named Warrior/USL Player of the Week

James Burr factored in half of Boston University’s 18 goals and became the school’s new career scoring leader in a surprising blowout of then-No. 3 Loyola to earn Warrior/US Lacrosse Player of the Week honors.

Burr had five goals and four assists in the Terriers’ 18-11 victory. He surpassed Cal Dearth's mark of 170 points with a goal in the third quarter and finished the day with 175 career points (137g, 38a). Burr now holds the program's all-time record for both goals and points.

The Warrior/US Lacrosse Player of the Week, selected by US Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors, recognizes the top performers in Division I men’s lacrosse throughout the season.
