Hofstra's Ryan Tierney is the US Lacrosse Player of the Week

Ryan Tierney recorded four goals and four assists, lifting Hofstra to a 12-9 win over visiting Michigan Saturday afternoon. For his efforts, he is the US Lacrosse Player of the Week.

He scored all four of his goals in the first half and tallied each of his four assists in the second half, tying a career high with eight points. Hofstra (2-0) trailed 6-3 in the second quarter, but he sparked a 9-1 Pride run that completely changed the game.

Through two games, Tierney has seven goals and five assists.
